Exploring themes of isolation, alienation, connection, community and belonging, a triptych of participatory performances took place in different public spaces around the city of Weimar. Choral recitations of poems arranged through a redactive process using transcriptions from interviews with individuals - largely with migration backgrounds and all outsiders - residing in the city were preceded by discussions about place, memory and identity, interacting with the cityscape and turning archive material into living, participatory practice. Participants were invited to reflect on their own experiences and the text with each other before interpreting them into spoken word, transforming the individual experience into a collective one.
